(Different compressor brands and operating conditions require specific treatment. This article is for reference only!)

Pre-start preparation

1. Check if the machine wiring is normal; check if the oil level is within the normal range;

2. For water-cooled units, turn on the cooling water circulation system and test whether the circulation system is running normally;

3. Add a small amount of clean engine oil from the intake port and manually rotate the crankshaft (belt and direct-connected models);

4. Turn on the power and check if the three-phase power supply is normal. For those with a dryer, start the dryer first;

5. Not too short a time ( One to two weeks ) Shutdown. It's okay not to add oil to the intake valve, but check if the exhaust valve is open when starting up.

Jogging method

1. Press the start button and run for approximately 5 seconds, then press the emergency stop button. Repeat the above steps at intervals of about half a minute (for permanent magnet variable frequency, you can press the emergency stop after the pre-run time when jogging) no less than 2 times before starting normally.

2. If the temperature rises rapidly and there is an abnormal sound during startup, this means that the internal oil has not yet circulated. You must immediately press the emergency stop button to stop and jog several times again.

3. After the machine starts normally, check the operating data and wait until the air compressor is running normally before starting normal air supply.

Operating precautions

1. After the air compressor is running normally, the compression workshop inspection personnel should conduct regular comprehensive inspections, no less than once per hour.

2. The exhaust temperature during operation must be between 75℃ and 95℃ to avoid the precipitation of condensed water emulsifying the oil.

3. Confirm that the pressure gauge and oil level gauge readings are normal, and the oil level must be kept between the two red lines during operation.

4. Check if various protection devices are working normally.

5 For initial startup and after motor maintenance, the compressor rotation direction must be confirmed.

6 Emergency stop should not be used except in emergencies.

7 Mixing lubricants from different manufacturers is strictly prohibited.

Must stop and repair

If any of the following situations occur during normal operation of the compressor, stop and repair immediately.

1 The safety protection device automatically activates, causing shutdown.

2 The cooling fan fails to operate normally, causing the motor temperature to be too high.

3 The motor ammeter indicates an overload, or there are sparks or burning phenomena in the electrical equipment.

4 The safety valve activates, or the pressure regulator fails.

5 The compressor and motor make abnormal noises or vibrate.

6 The compressor oil and gas tank has serious oil or gas leaks.

Manual shutdown operation

1 Press the "OFF" stop button, and wait for 10-15 seconds for the control system to operate and the compressor to stop.

2 Close the compressor system that needs to be stopped.

3 Open the drain valve that needs to be stopped.

4 Turn off the main power switch.

Special Note:

If the air compressor has been shut down for a long time and is restarted, never press the start button directly. The compressor head is easily starved of oil and jammed. Be sure to start it using the jogging method!
