Oval Gear Flow Meter Design Description

The oval gear flow meter consists of a flow transmitter and a counter mechanism. The main parts of the transmitter include a metering chamber equipped with a pair of oval gear rotors and a sealed coupling. This design includes the detection and acceptance and inspection standards for the flow or volume parameters of the transmitter, the processing data and procedures of the oval gears, etc.

This design includes three specifications of flow meters, namely LC-25, LC-40 and LC-80 ，The corresponding flow meter nominal diameters are 25、40 and 80.

Flow meter accuracy is divided into two types: 0.5 grade for ordinary type and 0.2 grade for high precision.

 

The flow range and theoretical displacement of the flow meter are as follows:

Note: The flow rate of LC-25 pointer rotating one circle is 10 liters, LC-40 The flow rate of pointer rotating one circle is 100 liters,

The flow rate of LC-80 pointer rotating one circle is 1000 liters.

Measured medium viscosity: 0.6-200mP.s

Maximum working pressure: 1.6MPa

Pressure loss: ≤ 0.1Mpa
